Strong Bones Certification Course @ John H Aammon Medical Education Center

Strong Bones Header

Patients with bone fragility are at high risk for fractures. Preventing broken bones in these patients, especially those with a prior fracture, is an excellent opportunity to improve outcomes and reduce cost, however bone fragility is often difficult to address in a typical office visit. Many providers lack the resources to assess patients’ fracture risk, provide appropriate counseling and materials, confidently prescribe treatment and perform the necessary follow up.

This course will provide the essential information providers need to assess and improve bone health, and will present a comprehensive approach to evaluation and management. The program will also highlight the Strong Bones program, a system-based bone health program which will help to identify patients at risk, coordinate their care and serve as a resource to make sure patients at risk receive proper care. Working together, we can reduce the burden of broken bones in Delaware. Attend this program to learn how Strong Bones can help you and your patients.
